CED 509. Counseling Ethics and Legal Issues for School Counselors. 3 (3,0). This course provides an in depth introduction into legal and ethical concerns related to school counseling conduct. As a foundation course, an examination of the Ethical Codes for School Counseling will be explored as to its relevance to school counselors maintaining ethical conduct. Moreover, this course will examine how school counselor ethical conduct affects the academic, career and social-emotional development of counselees.
