Description: An introduction to the basic skills and processes of traditional and experimental printmaking techniques which may include relief (woodcut / linocut), intaglio (etching / collagraph), and planographic methods (screenprint / lithography). Students will familiarize themselves with the print studio and explore the multiple while engaging with the historically significant timeline of contemporary global printmaking. Prerequisite: Completion of 12 hours. Notes: Offered in fall. Lab fee: $100
