SPT120 Sport Marketing - Students will learn about the 5P's of marketing (price, product, place, promotion and public relations) and an understanding of their interdependent relationship. Marketing practices, procedures, and operations as they pertain to sport professions, college athletics, and recreational sport organizations will be covered. The course will familiarize studetns with the challenges of sponsorship, merchandising, sport consumer demographics and behavior. 3 credits.
