MKT 215 (Formerly MK 211) - Advertising This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of advertising and the role it plays in business and marketing. Topics that are covered include: the evolution, environment, and business of advertising. Students will learn how segmentation, targeting, and the marketing mix affect communication and consumer behavior. Advertising planning and research, and the creative process will also be covered. During the semester, students will create and "pitch" a multiplatform ad campaign. (3 Credits). Pre-Requisites: MKT105
