Topics of study include: the, chromosomal basis of inheritance, population, genetics, gene regulation and mutation, and, evolutionary genetics. The lab component of this, course utilizes common genetic model organisms,, including the fruit fly D. melanogaster, and the, bacteria E. coli. Lecture 3 hours. Lab 3 hours., Course fee.
