This course is divided into two intimately related topics that are most relevant to civil and Environmental engineering areas; namely, Water Supply/Distribution Systems and Waste and Storm Water Collection Systems. Students will learn identification and evaluation of design solutions for providing a community with adequate water supply, storage tanks, pumping stations, water resources, water demand forecasting, collecting and disposing of stormwater and sewage, and managing excess stormwater flow. This class is not available for graduate credit.
