Students learn physical, verbal, and psychological self-defense techniques for dealing with varieties of self-defense situations including those which end up on the ground. This class provides opportunity for structured group discussions in addition to verbal and physical practice and simulated attack scenarios with the instructor in padded gear. (.5 hr lec, .5 hr lab)
