Students learn to use an ever expanding body of knowledge and the nursing process to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving to provide basic care for clients with chronic conditions through a variety of clinical learning experiences. The Practical Nursing student coordinates and contributes to an established plan of care to meet the chronic illness human needs for diverse client populations in a variety of health care delivery settings. Prerequisite: Successful completion of the first semester of the Practical Nursing Program. Co-requisites: NRST 2605 and NRST 1745. (145 hrs clinical)
