An introductory course focusing on the reading and analysis of mythology. Successful students will identify the fundamentals of myth as well as demonstrate comprehension of excerpts of myths from all over the world, interpret their themes, and discuss the relevance of those themes to their own lives. Prerequisites: Successful completion of DVST 0520 or ENGL 0520 and ENGL 0700 or ENGL 1001 (or equivalent placement test scores).
