Description:

Zumba is an introductory dance course incorporating Latin beats and world music. Students learn the basic steps involved for different types of dance. These steps are combined into choreographed dance routines throughout the semester. Students acquire general knowledge on the origins of music used in class. In addition, students improve cardiovascular endurance, muscle tone, and flexibility through class participation. (activity)
