This course provides students with an introductory, supervised field experience in early childhood care and education settings. The emphasis is on observing children?s development in the physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional domains, and exploring research-based tools for planning developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Students will complete 75 hours of guided and supervised experience in the field.
