Description:
This course includes the study and review of aircraft altitude control, commercial flight maneuvers, airports, airspace, VFR advanced cross country planning and navigation. Students discuss aircraft. In addition, the student will gain a greater understanding of aviation physiology, aeronautical decision making and the Federal Aviation Regulation's applicable to the commercial pilot certificate. The course consists of approximately 45 hours of ground instruction to fulfill the ground school requirements and will prepare students sto take and pass the FAA Commercial Pilot Airplane written exam. Prerequisite: Private Pilot Certificate or consent of instructor.(3 hrs lec)
