Description:
Students learn the application of aircraft altitude control, flight maneuvers, and flight based solely on instrument reference. Course included 55 hours of precision altitude flying which is done under simulated and/or actual meteorological condistions. This course also includes advance navigation, IFR/ATC procedures. Students will obtain the knowledge, skills and aeronautical experience necessary to take and pass the FAA instrument airplane practical exam. Prerequisite: AVTN 2510 and AVTN 2520. Co-requisite: AVTN 2600. (1 hr lec, 6 hrs lab)
