Students learn to apply mechanical theories while safely installing belt drives, chain drives, gears, couplings, and bearings. Students apply knowledge to evaluate if any of the mechanical components of drive assemblies require maintenance. All course exercises are performed in a lab environment. Prerequisite: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in IST 1660.
