This course provides an overview of human growth and development from conception until the end of life. The course material combines theory, research and practical applications from developmental psychology. Lecture topics include prenatal and birth factors; genetic influences on development; physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and cultural variables which influence development in infancy, childhood, adolescence, early-, middle-, and late adulthood. 3 hours lecture.
