THEA 2225 Playing With Shakespeare: Literature in Performance (4L,4CR) A fresh look at Shakespeare, aimed at engaging students' interests and increasing their appreciation and enjoyment of his works. Study will include a variety of different performances, examining and responding to the interpretations of actors, directors, and literary critics in order to arrive at a more complete understanding of Shakespeare's plays, both as literature and performance. Prerequisite: ENGL 1010, or permission of the instructor.
