Due to the intimate nature of massage, professionalism is of utmost importance. this course discusses professional ethics as they relate to the massage profession. As part of this course, students will learn to create a code of ethics. The course also introduces students to the business aspects of running a massage practice. Topics included in the business portion are scheduling, budgeting, bookkeeping, marketing, advertising and massage related business issues. Students will learn to write and execute a detailed, workable massage business plan.
