This course is designed to provide the second year apprentice with the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure safe and efficient work practices on the job. Topics of study include but not limited to safety, AC electricity, inductance, capacitance, transformers, motors and application of the National Electrical Code. Prerequisite: Completion of ELAP 1525 with a grade of "C" or better or approval of instructor. 2 hours lecture, 1.5 hours lab.
