This survey course is designed to introduce students to the basic techniques applied in broadcasting a sporting event. The course includes an overview of game preparations, pointers for on-air play-by-play broadcasts, game previews and wraps, story writing with sound, and stat-keeping methods. Students are required to attend, observe, and produce sporting events broadcasts. Prerequisite: Completion of CO/M 2202. (2 lect., 2 lab)
