This course continues with the professional activities of a Veterinary Technician. Lectures will cover veterinary medical records, patient histories, OSHA, animal behavior, neonatal patients, nutrition, general aminal nursing, euthanasia of animals, grief counseling of clients, and an introduction to emergency and first aid care of animals. Sessions include practical application of clinical procedures commonly performed by veterinary technicians in the treatment of animals. 2 hours lecture, 3 hours lab.
