This course is designed to give the student a basic working knowledge and understanding of electricity, lighting for the stage, color use, instrument use and maintenance, and light board operation. In addition students will gain practical experience hanging, cabling and focusing a show. The course uses formal lectures, group discussions and practical lab sessions to cover the material. (3 lect.)
