STAT 2070 Introductory Statistics for Social Science (5L,4CR)[E]Primarily for the students of the social sciences. Includes frequency distributions and graphics, central tendency, dispersion, useful probability models, and basic statistical inference including linear regression and correlation, with emphasis on applications in the social sciences. Prerequisite: A "C" or better in MATH 1000 or MATH 1400, MATH 1450 or an ACT Math score of 23 or better, or an appropriate placement Exam score within the past year.
