PSYC 2970 Cognitive Retraining Practicum (1L,4LB,3CR)Supervised experience in working with individuals who have acquired brain injuries (ABI) in community based settings. Weekly on campus classes are conducted and students complete a minimum of 60 hours in off-campus practicum locations at cooperating treatment agencies/facilities. The class provides opportunities for students to gain practical field experience in working with individuals with brain injuries and to apply knowledge acquired in previous courses. The off-campus practicum time will be scheduled, structured, and supervised by a certified or licensed professional. S/U grading only. Prerequisite:PSYC 2390 and CPR certification.
