This course will cover general reliability modeling and evaluation; probability and stochastic processes; system modeling; methods of reliability assessment (state space, frequency balancing, cut-set and tie-set analysis, decomposition, Monte Carlo simulation); and reliability modeling and analysis of electric power systems: bulk power systems, distribution systems, and industrial systems. Prerequisite: MATH 2310 with a grade of C or better.
