This course focuses on network infrastructure design and development. Students apply learned skills to build and test network infrastructures in a virtual environment in the classroom. Students explore general network theorym, including topology, protocols, design, and management. Prerequisites/Restrictions: One of the following: Approved Utah Technical College 900+ hour certificate Multiple approved Certificates of Proficiency leading to a cohesive technical program Approved Certificates of Completion 30 previous technical credits as approved by the advisor or significant progress towards completion of a 30 technical elective plan Related experience approved by the instructor or department head
