This course is designed to encourage individual artistic practice through project-driven approaches in photography. Students will generate conceptually challenging and visually refined work using a wide-range of approaches to art making with an emphasis on photographic images. Coursework incorporates student presentations, critical discussion and analysis, and the creation of a single body of work. This class seeks to expand photographic meaning through a variety of methods including but not limited to: bookmaking, performance & installation, and the intersection of analog with digital processes.
