Two 12 hour clinical rotation shifts are required at a contracted clinical site. Hours can be completed in the Hospital Emergency Department or an Ambulance service. The clinical rotation provides hands-on education with an assigned preceptor in a real life situation. All co-requisite courses must be completed in the same semester. This course requires a Differential Tuition Rate which is an additional fee of $80 charged per credit hour. **COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLOs) At the successful conclusion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Demonstrate mastery of basic life support, knowledge of Emergency Medical Technician protocols, vital signs interpretation, skills and affective abilities. 2. Integrate EMT protocols and skills into effective patient care. 3. Produce proof of understanding and use of skills performed by the emergency medical technician. 4.
