A basic introduction to Spanish for students who are interested in working in the medical field. Emphasis on speaking and listening skills through the use of specialized vocabulary, simulations, paired activities, and interaction with native speakers. Cultural issues particular to the Spanish-speaking community will also be addressed. Not open to students who have completed 3 or more years of Spanish in Secondary school within the last 8 years. Not open to students who have previously enrolled in any SPA courses above 102.
