This course is an introduction to the even planning industry with an emphasis on the role and relevance of the industry to society. Students learn about the multi-disciplinary nature of event mangement to gain the foundation of practical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the events industry. Students will be introduced to common and emerging information technologies in the event management field.
