Students will demonstrate the ability to identify the parts of the visual system, development of the eye, understand and interpret eye reports, as well as translate the information into an educational plan. Students will also gain an understanding of disease (hereditary and other) and pathologic processes of the human eye, how vision is affected and how treatment is provided.
