This course is the clinical component of NURP 1107, NURP 1114, and NURP 1117. Emphasis is on the application of the nursing process to enable health promotion and prevention across the lifespan in a clinical setting. The course is designed to apply and demonstrate mastery of the skills necessary in the health care settiing of the Practical Nurse. The student will gain an awareness of the roles of other health care team members and community resources. Students must pass fall semester LPN courses and NURP 1107 with a 74% (C) or above to enroll. This course is part of a required series to prepare students to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN).
