Description:
-
Masterclasses have been a staple learning methodology since 1869. Their invention is attributed to the virtuosic Hungarian pianist, Franz Liszt (1811-1886). Since then, Masterclasses have been held by professionals ranging from experienced instructors to legendary performers, for aspiring musicians all over the world. In a masterclass, individuals perform for the class and are offered instruction by the teaching artist. This allows the entire class to learn from the interaction between the instructor and the performing student. This class is no longer being offered.
