Provides students with a comprehensive study of the structure and function of microorganisms. This course presents the control of microorganisms, immunity, and microbes in the news, as well as discusses selected infectious diseases. Procedures and techniques used in the study of microorganisms are emphasized through the laboratory activities. A course fee is required.
