This course introduces students to archaeological survey and excavation techniques, as well as analysis and interpretation of archaeological artifacts and remains. In addition to practical hands-on training, there will be occasional field-trips and lectures on regional prehistory, history, geology, and ecology. Up to six (6) credits of Archaeology Field Methods may be counted toward the Anthropology major or minor.
