This RN-BSN public health nursing course explores the role of the Baccalaureate- prepared nurse in health promotion and disease prevention among diverse communities. Dimensions of cultural expressions are explored among at-risk populations. The study of epidemiology, as well as social determinants of health are studied and applied to population health by using a public health intervention framework.
