A continuation of SOC 435. with the permission of the sociology faculty, advanced students will be provided direct experience in selected supervised settings including social, educational, personnel and organizational facilities, agencies and programs. The practicum aims to provide a service to the community and enable the student to acquire the skills, experience and knowledge necessary for the choice of a career. Prerequisite: SOC 435 and permission of the instructor. Students must complete 40 documented hours of work for each credit earned.
