With the permission of the sociology faculty, advanced students will be provided direct experience in selected supervised settings including social, educational, personnel and organizational facilities, agencies and programs. The practicum aims to provide a service to the community and enable the student to acquire the skills, experience, and knowledge necessary for the choice of a career. Prerequisite: SOC 201 and permission of the instructor. Students must complete 40 documented hours of work for each credit earned.
