PSY 435 - Psychology Practicum

This course is designed to afford senior psychology majors a practical experience in the application of psychological theory and research. With the recommendation of the psychology faculty and the approval of the program coordinator, students may work in a 40-hour-per-credit practicum opportunity. The practicum setting must provide a learning opportunity consistent with the learning outcomes of the program. Students must consult and meet with the program coordinator during the semester prior to the semester when the practicum will be completed to have the practicum site approved. Prerequisite: Permission of the program coordinator
