CRJ 460: The Municipal Police Officer Certification (Act 120) through Montgomery County Community College prepares students for the state certification exam, a requirement for entry-level positions in municipal law enforcement in Pennsylvania. As cadets, students acquire the technical and physical skills, legal background, and ethical contexts for a future in local law enforcement. The program is available only to full-time students in good academic standing. Students who successfully complete the program earn 15 criminal justice elective credits.
