This courses is a clinical practice component complementing the didactic of NUR 580. Experiences are provided for comprehensive health assessment and beginning management of adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients through interviewing and history taking, physical examination, laboratory testing, clinical decision making and formulation of plans of care in a primary care setting. Focus includes health promotion, disease prevention and management of acute/episodic health care and selected chronic and co-morbid illnesses. Corequisite: NUR 580.
