This course includes an examination of the pathophysiology and nursing care of selected adult health problems. Beginning application of the components of the nursing process are utilized for holistic care of the individual. Students are introduced to application of the concepts of critical thinking, cultural sensitivity, therapeutic nursing interventions, and therapeutic communication skills. Prerequisites or Corequisites: BIO 107, 107L; NUR 111.
