In recent years new and innovative approaches to health care and healing have grown in popularity.People used to consider these approaches outside of the mainstream or ""alternative""--not part of conventional medical training; but now many patients and health care providers use alternative treatments together with conventional therapies. After you have completed this course, you'll have a clear understanding of what alternative, complementary and energy healing is, how it works and how you can make it work for you - in a personal or a professional manner. There are numerous types of healing therapies that exist in the health care arena today, this course provides a realistic starting point for anyone interested or curious what this is all about. This course will provide a comphrehensive and clinical relevant coverage of complementary and alternative medicine. It will cover the history, philosophy, and mechanisms of alternative therapies and includes a thorough review of the clinically controlled trials, indications, and contraindications of each therapy. It will also reflect and explore the most current knowledge of Spiritual medicine. There will be a focus on Integrated Energy Therapy (IET) guided by the course instructor who is a Master-Instructor in Integrated Energy Therapy. Engage in this physical, mental, and spiritual self-healing process and learn how it can bring balance to your life and a client's'. The student will experience learning opportunities through shadowing, interviewing and experiential opportunities to enhance the classroom experience. No prior knowledge or professional status necessary just and open mind and open heart!
