This is a course for students with an introductory understanding of computers and the BASIC programming language that wish to pursue a career as a programmer in the discipline of computer science. This course will take the narrow focused understanding on one programming language and expand this foci to not only place programming languages within the context of software development in general, but also the entire landscape of hardware and software topics that professional programmers need to know.
