A Studio/performace-oriented course that explores the therapeutic properties of art media and techniques through direct engagement. Processes will be assessed for their appropriateness with a variety of client populations and potential to assist in meeting specific treatment goals. Students will learn how to convey the richness of their own experience through art in order to more effectively and empathically elicit therapeutic art from clients.
