This is an introduction to production, visual aesthetics, editing, basic camera operations, and other concepts relevant to the world of digital media and television production. Students are introduced to various multimedia applications (Adobe Photoshop, WordPress, Audacity and Final Cut Pro) and learn how to construct effective media projects including web-based production and audio and video work. The previous offerings was a 3 credit course, however this 4 credit course will include a require lab. Students will be tested on their knowledge of studio, field and editing equipment by way of traditionally administered exams and praxis or skilled-based tests in the lab environment.
