Grammar courses develop student understanding of the grammar necessary for reading and writing. This course functions in tandem with the Reading and Writing course to identify key grammatical challenges in writing production, and then learn to evaluate the meaning, function, and use of identified constructs. Students learn to identify and implement academic constructs, phrases, and practices in their writing.
