Description:

This course provides students with foundational study in music theory and ear training to help them successfully complete the courses in the music theory sequence. This course does not carry credits toward graduation. Students will enroll in MUSC 090 concurrently with MUSC 113 and 115 unless they successfully complete the music theory placement exam. Students who fail to pass any of the courses in the music theory sequence will enroll in MUSC 090 in the following semester.Credit, two hours not counted toward graduation.
