Advanced Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory is the complimentary laboratory toCHM-322Inorganic Chemistry. Students will build upon the foundational concepts first explored inCHM-322. An emphasis will be placed on the synthesis and characterization of transition metal complexes. Coordination chemistry reactions and mechanisms will be introduced as well as the chemistry of lanthanides. Students will gain experience in the handling of air-sensitive materials.
