(3) Social media sites are often used as non-academic informal learning environments where knowledgable participants produce and share videos that teach Do-It-Yourself audiences how to perform practical tasks, such as change a tire, repair an appliance, cook a meal, perform a dance, conduct an exercise, apply makeup, and similar. This course explores how modern theories of visual design and multimedia cognition can be applied to adapted professional workflows for instructional video production using limted resources.
