Description:
An integrated learning, practice course, which introduces students to the social work planned change process and generalist intervention model. Students learn theories, concepts, and an ethical guide that provide a framework for generalist social work intervention. Students complete a 100-hour educationally directed and supervised internship, during which they apply theoretical frameworks in agency settings. Assignments, both in the classroom and in the field, are compiled to create the Junior Level Learning Portfolio. Prerequisites: SOCW 151, 210, 220 and 240.
